Use your UofG Sport membership to access gym facilities at participating institutions across the UK for free with a BUCS UNIversal Gym membership!
BUCS UNIversal gym membership gives student and staff UofG Sport members free access to multiple university/college gyms around the UK, meaning you can work out wherever you are – helping staff and students stay active all year round.
How to Join BUCS UNIversal
- UofG Sport members with a full-access student or staff membership are eligible to be a BUCS UNIversal Gym member
- Download the BUCS Play app (from the App Store or Google Play) and register to get started
- Join the UofG Sport - UNIversal Gym community
- Apply for a UNIversal Gym Membership
- A member of our team will check your membership status and approve your BUCS UNIversal membership – this will usually take no more than three working days
- Visit the BUCS UNIversal Gym network to view other participating institutions (please note that all institutions have the right to pull out of the scheme at any time)
- Join the community for the institution whose facilities you wish to access, book an available session and view their terms and conditions of use (we do not have any control over another institutions' rules)
- Present your booking confirmation (email or in-app) when visiting the participating institution's facilities
